If you’ve been following my blog, you should have known by now that I recently took over a crepe restaurant/creperie with my two very close friends and now business partners. We officially started our business on July 5th, 2016 – one day after America’s birthday. If you’re wondering: why creperie? Then it would turn into a two-hour long story. But long story short, the three of us all want to possess something of our own. Something that we can claim our own business. Something that can be called an asset. And it just so happened that we stumbled upon this amazing business opportunity that we couldn’t pass on, and so now here we are as newbie creperie owners.
In the “About” page of this blog and in some of the other posts, I’ve mentioned “financial freedom” several times. Now, you may be thinking what the hech is that, but it is basically a simple concept of having more passive income than expenses so one can make a comfortable living and do what he truly loves without having to stress over work everyday. And that is exactly my dream and life goal. I am working on building a restaurant empire (or anything else I enjoy aka. this blog) to support my financials, which will then allow me to chase my dreams of becoming a real ramen vagabond, roaming the world, mastering snowboard, developing new skills and visiting my family and friends whenever and wherever.
So, enough about the background story. I’m sure you are all dying to learn about my creperie, so you can bring all your family, friends, acquaintances, neighbors, tinder dates here and share the love and money (haha), so let’s get into it!
At Lily’s Creperie, we provide customers with premium-quality food, including our go-to sweet and savory crepes, gelatos, and smoothies. Our sweet and savory crepes combine to roughly 25 different set combinations. For the real foodies of the foodies, we also customize the crepes with your favorite toppings. For the health-conscious customers, an upgrade to gluten-free buckwheat flour for just $1 is also available. All crepes are made instantly upon order with healthy and fresh ingredients.
As for our gelatos, we receive our supplies from Bay Area local vendor Fiorello’s. We have the standard flavors of Vanilla Bean, Chocolate, Strawberry, Espresso, White Chocolate Raspberry and Cookies & Cream. Depending on the time of the year, we also have limited secret flavors, so don’t be shy and ask the kind staff around you so you can show off to your friends on the social media of your choice.
We have 7 different smoothies currently: Strawberry Banana, Pina Colada, Very Berry, Acai Berry, Tropical, Green Power, Slushy Milo, and also gelato milk shakes, which can be made with any available gelatos in store. All fruits used are fresh and all drinks at Lily’s have been tested and approved by our guinea pig friends, so please rest assure as you will not be disappointed!
Aside from these three go-to items, we also provide coffee and our signature Thai iced tea. To celebrate the grand opening, customers who dine in and check in on yelp now can redeem a free glass of Thai iced tea. Please take this chance before the offer expires!
At Lily’s Creperie, we understand customers don’t just come here for the food, but you want an unforgettable experience. This is why we have the friendliest manager and the face of the restaurant (aka. Austin) and our awesome staff. They are all here to give you the best service you deserve. Aside from the service, you can also find your favorite seating as we provide both indoor and patio. Depending on your mood and occasion, you can dine indoor at the bar alone, sit outside in the patio with a big family or enjoy a nice afternoon tea with your girl friends. We also take pickup orders and will soon have delivery service available.
In all, we are always looking for ways to improve and innovate. At Lily’s Creperie, we take things very serious (but not too serious). We want to be more than a restaurant. We want to be that hangout spot you’d like to come back again and again. Please stop by, try our food and give us feedbacks directly or on yelp as all are appreciated. Much love and thanks.
